"Big up's"

Jasper Fforde - I picked up The Eyre Affair on a random whim the day before my trip, and had almost finished the book before I was even on the plane. The story was really well written and pulled me in straight away. I'm going to pick up the next three parts in the Thursday Next saga ASAP.
Easily up there at number 2 in my favourite authors list already, hopefully I won't be disappointed by his other efforts.
